Merging Motion: Working with Flash & After Effects
Flash and After Effects have an odd relationship. They do a lot of similar things, but they're usually used for entirely different purposes. This session will show examples of ways to use Flash and After Effects together in your web-based motion graphics or animation projects. We'll cover the strengths and weaknesses of each program and take a look at ways to move assets between them, including the .xfl file format. Some tips on how to get started in After Effects if you're coming from a Flash background will also be covered. This session is aimed at Flash folks looking to do more with After Effects.
