Facebook is the largest social site on the internet and companies are looking for ways to stand out. More and more those companies are looking to Flash developers to help them add rich functionality to their Fan pages. Facebook is quickly becoming a great platform for Flash developers. This session will dive into murky water that is Facebook Development. We'll start from the beginning and cover the basics of creating a Facebook application and then quickly move into how to integrate a Flash application with Facebook.

Danny runs a consulting company in Minneapolis called Patterson Consulting that specializes in Flash and Flex development. He has published many articles on RIA technologies and authored multiple books on the topic of ActionScript, including Advanced ActionScript 3.0 with Design Patterns. He is also an Adobe Community Professional and is the manager of the Adobe-sponsored Minnesota Flex/Flash Programmers User Group called MN.swf.
