Tips & Tricks for Flash CS5 and Flash Player 10.1

Rich will discuss highlights, tips, and tricks you can use with Flash Professional CS5 and Flash Player 10.1. Designers will benefit from an overview of the XFL and FXG file formats, and how they affect workflows between Flash and other applications like InDesign and Illustrator, as well as demonstrations of IK featuers, Deco brushes and templates. Developers will enjoy coding enhancements, Flash Builder integration, global error handling, and improved microphone access. Additional topics will appeal to the Designer in all of us, and may include: video, text, and font features, as time allows. This session will scratch a variety of surfaces and include practical examples to give the hour some legs.



Rich Shupe is the founder of FMA -- a full-service multimedia development company and training facility in New York City. Rich teaches Flash and other digital technologies in academic and commercial environments worldwide. He is a professor in the MFA department at New York\'s School of Visual Arts, is a Flashbelt veteran, and presents at additional industry conferences, including Flash on the Beach and Flash at the City, among others.
